Crispy outside and juicy inside chicken sticks infused with mint, coriander, and spices, perfect as a flavourful snack or starter.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams chicken fillets
  • 30 grams fresh mint leaves
  • 30 grams fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 6-7 fresh chillies
  • 100 ml double cream
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 200 grams golden breadcrumbs
  • Oil for brushing or frying

Instructions
 

Prepare the chicken:

  • Cut chicken fillets into 1½-inch chunks or stick-shaped pieces.

Make marinade:

  • In a bowl mix cream, garlic paste, salt, black pepper, and cumin powder.

Add herb paste:

  • Blend mint leaves, coriander leaves, and green chillies into a smooth paste.
  • Add this to the chicken mixture and mix well.

Marinate:

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for the best flavour.

Coat with breadcrumbs:

  • Take each piece and coat evenly with breadcrumbs.

Air fry:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  • Place chicken sticks in a single layer, brush lightly with oil, and cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and cooked through.

Alternative frying:

  • You can deep fry in hot oil for 4–5 minutes until golden and crispy.

Serve:

  • Serve hot with mint chutney, ketchup, or dip of choice.
