Khari puri is a popular Gujarati Teatime snack. Crispy gujarati Khari puri is based on gujarati cuisine. Khari puri is made with all purpose flour, wheat flour, besan and other spices. It is a deep fried but less oily tea time snack, which is also used for any chaat recipes.

- 1/2 kilogram(kg) plain flour
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- 1/2 cup warm oil
- 1 tablespoon(tbsp) cumin seeds, coarsely ground
- 1 teaspoon(tsp) salt
- 1 teaspoon(tsp) black pepper,coarsely ground
- oil for frying
Mix the Hours, salt, pepper and cumin seeds and then add the warm oil
Bind with cold water into a stiff dough
Make small balls and roll out each ball into a thick pancake
Prick with a fork or make small slits with a knife
Deepfry in medium hot oil
