Aloo gobi (Cauliflower curry) is a vegetarian dish from the Indian subcontinent made with potatoes (aloo), cauliflower (gob(h)i), and Indian spices.

- 1/2 kilogram(kg) 1/2 kilogram cauliflower ,cut into pieces
- 2 small onions,chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1/4 cup oil
- Salt to taste
- potatoes,peeled and cut into piedes
- 1/2 teaspoon(tsp) garlic paste
- 2 green chillies, slit
- 1 tablespoon(tbsp) coriander leaves,chopped
- 1 teaspoon(tsp) coriander/cumin powder
- 1/2 tablespoon(tbsp) garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon(tsp) red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(tsp) turmeric
Fry the chopped onions in the oil to a light brown colour
Add all the ingredients and cook for a little while before adding the cauliflower and potatoes
Cook on low heat until the cauliflower is cooked
Add 1 tbsp of water if necessary while cooking
Serve with parathas
