Peanut Butter Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preheat oven:

  • Preheat oven to 175°C. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Mix dry ingredients:

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Prepare wet mixture:

  • In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla and whisk well.

Combine:

  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.

Add peanut butter:

  • Pour batter into the pan.
  • Swirl peanut butter on top and sprinkle chocolate chips.

Bake:

  • Bake for 25–28 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Cool & serve.

  • Let cool completely, cut into squares, and serve.
