
Marble Bundt Cake (Vanilla & Chocolate)
A soft and moist marble cake with beautiful swirls of vanilla and chocolate, topped with a rich chocolate glaze—perfect for tea time or dessert.
Ingredients
For the cake:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons milk (extra, for chocolate batter)
For the chocolate glaze:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
Preheat oven:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
Mix dry ingredients:
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar:
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla:
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
Combine mixture:
- Gradually add dry ingredients alternating with milk.
- Mix until smooth.
Make chocolate batter:
- Divide batter into two parts.
- Mix cocoa powder and extra milk into one portion.
Create a marble effect:
- Spoon both batters alternately into the pan.
- Swirl gently with a knife.
Bake:
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool:
- Let the cake cool completely before removing from the pan.
Prepare glaze:
- Heat cream until warm.
- Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until smooth.
Finish:
- Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake.
- Let it set before slicing.
