
Maru Bhajia Chutney
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cucumber chopped (about half a cucumber)
- 1/2 cup tomatoes chopped (about one large tomato)
- 1/2 carrot chopped (about one carrot)
- 3 tbsp cilantro (coriander leaves and stalks) chopped
- 2 green chilies chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 1/2 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Prepare the ingredients:
- Chop cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, cilantro, and green chilies into small pieces.
Blend the chutney:
- Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.
Pulse to texture:
- Pulse briefly until the mixture forms a salsa-style rough chutney.
- Do not overblend.
Store and serve:
- Transfer the chutney to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
