
Air Fry Chicken Sticks
Crispy outside and juicy inside chicken sticks infused with mint, coriander, and spices, perfect as a flavourful snack or starter.
Ingredients
- 500 grams chicken fillets
- 30 grams fresh mint leaves
- 30 grams fresh coriander leaves
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 6-7 fresh chillies
- 100 ml double cream
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 200 grams golden breadcrumbs
- Oil for brushing or frying
Instructions
Prepare the chicken:
- Cut chicken fillets into 1½-inch chunks or stick-shaped pieces.
Make marinade:
- In a bowl mix cream, garlic paste, salt, black pepper, and cumin powder.
Add herb paste:
- Blend mint leaves, coriander leaves, and green chillies into a smooth paste.
- Add this to the chicken mixture and mix well.
Marinate:
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for the best flavour.
Coat with breadcrumbs:
- Take each piece and coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
Air fry:
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
- Place chicken sticks in a single layer, brush lightly with oil, and cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and cooked through.
Alternative frying:
- You can deep fry in hot oil for 4–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serve:
- Serve hot with mint chutney, ketchup, or dip of choice.
