Ingredients
  

  • 6 pieces skinned chicken(quarters)
  • 100 grams(g) yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons(tbsp) tomato puree
  • 2 teaspoons(tsp) kashmiri or tandoori masala 
  • 2 tablespoons(tbsp) oil
  • 1 teaspoons(tsp) garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons(tsp) garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoons(tsp) ginger paste
  • few strands of saffron
  • 4 tablespoons(tbsp) 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 pinch red chilli powder 
  • Salt to Taste

Instructions
 

  • Rub the chicken quarters with some lemon juice and salt and leave for about half an hour
  • Mix all the remaining ingredients to form a smooth paste
  • Score the chicken flesh with a sharp knife and marinate in the prepared paste for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight
  • Grill the chicken under moderate heat on both sides
